I have big windows in my new apartment. They always seem bigger when I’m able to easily find the moon. Last week’s full moon in Sagittarius caught my eye as it danced out from behind the clouds into full view. I sat with my journal reflecting on how kismet it was that this full moon was illuminating the 4th house of my chart (the house of home, family, and foundations) right as I found myself settling into my new home.

As a Virgo rising, I pride myself on packing (and unpacking) quickly. When I get home from trips, the suitcase gets unpacked first and foremost. I’ve attempted to take the same approach in my move, but alas, life is messy. In reflecting on this transition between spaces in my own life (and seasons in the natural world), I’ve decided to give more reverence to being ‘somewhere in between’. I found myself doing work at my brand-new desk while sitting in a camping chair. Temporary, but a charming alternative. Instead of rushing to get things done or feeling the urge to accomplish a finished product, I am slowly strolling through this transition, hoping to remember the magic of each moment.

Don’t worry everyone, we have plenty of packing tape.

Seasonally, we are approaching this in-between as well. As you’ll see later this week, we are preparing to enter Cancer Season, the summer solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere. Gemini acts as an energetic connector from spring into summer. It breathes life into the liminal space between two defined seasons, creating room for nuance, messiness, and magic.

I wonder where in your life you are feeling ‘somewhere in-between’ two things or two worlds. Can you give yourself the space to just be there without longing for one side or the other?
