Let’s take a deep breath for cancer season. Ahhh 🌊 Here’s what we need to know. Cancer is a cardinal water sign. This means it initiates energy and moves forward with a more emotional and intuitive quality. All cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) mark the beginning of a season. Cancer season always begins on Summer Solstice, aka the longest day and shortest night of the year. Here are more loose cancer + solstice ramblings I wrote yesterday:
cancer is a cardinal water sign that moves energy forward from a place of compassion and trust. it is very reflective and nostalgic sign that reminds us of who we are and where we come from as we aspire to build and grow and evolve.
it gives and receives and reminds us that we are always in flow. the good, the bad, the beautiful, the challenging, all happening in a divine dance. an ebb and flow.
the sun shines long and bright today on summer solstice. it provides a warmth and life giving energy to us here on earth. reminding us of our own radiance.
perhaps we can look into the reflective waters of cancer to witness and celebrate our radiance. sparkling and dancing from deep within our core to the very tips of our fingers
so on this long and beautiful solstice day remember that you are radiant, that everything is constantly in flux, and that no matter if you are swimming forwards or simply floating on the surface, you are always in a divine flow.
This week, we will be orienting ourselves in the new season of summer while also celebrating a big full moon in Capricorn. I want to note that when we are moving through a seasonal portal combined with the energy of a full moon tends to bring up big emotions.
