hello - I am home <3

Baja has become a portal of magic and connection for me over the last year. Deep connections with soul sisters, lots of yoga, incredibly early bedtimes, sandy toes, long walks on the beach with sweet dogs, clarification, and big dreams.

On this same retreat last year, I felt lost in the direction of my business and was itching to leave New York City. I was just craving more ease and simplicity in my life, which I figured I could find anywhere outside this bustling city. I couldn’t quite pull myself away, and my people really anchored me here. Instead of running to find ease elsewhere, I stayed here. I fell in love, I found dream clients, I deepened my friendships, and I learned that I could soften right where I was.

It wasn’t until I was back in this Baja portal that I realized everything I was craving last year was already in my orbit. So, I am embracing the phrase “it gets to be easy” as I continue to grow and explore (at my own pace) in 2025.

Landing back in the cold winter air of Brooklyn was shocking but surprisingly refreshing. We just entered our final sun season of the year, Capricorn. The longest night of the year, deep quietude. As I walked to work the other day, a cold gust of wind hit me, and I felt my muscles contract after the expansion of adventurous Sagittarius season comes the contraction of winter, Capricorn season. Contract and expand. They complement each other so perfectly. Contraction is a sense of pulling in, of engagement, of support. I think of in the body how a contraction of muscles supports joints or bones. A contraction to keep warm, create structure, and hold together.

Especially with this week’s mutable T-Square (more on that below), I am curious how this feeling of a contraction into the winter season can ultimately feel safe, grounding, or protective.

Perhaps this analogy is altogether strange. But as a former dancer, it makes a lot of sense to me. 🫠

2025 luminary journals and year-ahead astrology readings are now live and available for support as we intentionally glide into quite a wild year.
