I usually write my weekly emails to you on Thursdays. However, this week I am coming to you on Friday - venus day.

This past week I picked up some extra shifts at the restaurant, held space for friends navigating scary times, and exerted far too much energy around the pisces new moon. New moon hangovers are real y’all. Low lunar days are exhausting and can feel quite depleting. I was fortunate to recover from the week with a wide open venus day.

I let myself wake up late, eat breakfast, fall back asleep, catch up on my substacks, fall back asleep, write, make an afternoon cup of coffee, open the window to hear the early spring birds chirping, fall asleep again, and at last feel alive enough to write this week’s newsletter.

Here are the substacks that I enjoyed floating through in my hazy, lazy, post pisces new moon venus day.

Ways of Being // Kasia Murfet

New Moon in Pisces Musings // Ocean Pleasant

moon notes: issue 2 // Natalie

Do I really want this? // Lieke Mulder

Elements of Style: Anaïs Nin // Kait Mumford

March Madness! // OTHERWORLDLY

My thoughts on people pleasing // Bailey Sims

Blue World // Sabrina Y. Smith

it was a very cozy and productive substack morning if you can’t tell…

sunday by david hettinger aka me on venus day

I have been feeling the increase of volatile energy in my orbit. A lot of big changes, shocking news, and difficult realizations that have felt like quite an obvious foreshadow to March - our most potent astrological month of the year.

As we prepare for a seasonal shift, eclipses, retrogrades, and new planetary ingresses all in this month alone - I am personally setting goals to be embrace this energy by being offline and outside as much as possible. Grounding in the most literal sense of the word.

Let’s dive into the astrology of this week
